Tiffany Evans (born August 4, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Evans quickly rose to fame in 2003 as a contestant on a popular American television show called Star Search.

Evans made history by becoming the first contestant on Star Search to ever receive a perfect score on all her performances.
Following her glorious win, the singer signed a recording deal with Columbia Records in the same year. Evans released her self-titled debut album in 2008 which held some of her biggest hits including the singles “Promise Ring” featuring Ciara and “I’m Grown” featuring Bow Wow.
Evans has an extensive amount of talent ranging from her being an incredible vocalist, dancer, and actress who quickly dominated the entertainment space. With her cool girl aesthetic and swagged out wardrobe, the singer became one of culture’s favorite IT girls of her generation.
Eager to learn more about where Evans is today on her musical journey, we got the chance to sit down with the triple-threat queen for a little more insight into her future endeavors.
In attempt to unravel new-found information, this is what we discovered!

Q. You got your rise to fame back in 2003 when you first broke into the music industry. Fast forward to today… how has the music industry changed in your opinion?
“Back then, I feel like we had more emphasis on artist development and the labels at the time would put more money into making sure the rollout and the artist was on point. I do feel like we’re trying to get back there now.”
Q. In 2024 you released a record titled “Reset.” The track provided a refreshing R&B aesthetic followed by a calm and soothing instrumental. Tell us, what was the inspiration behind this record and who produced it?
“The record was produced by Sunny Winter and Dreek Beatz.”
“It was inspired by a few moments I had with myself in the mirror. It sounds like a love song but it’s really me talking to myself. When all is said and done, are you willing to live with you?”
“Are you willing to hold yourself up and encourage yourself in ways that we look for other people to do it? Sometimes it isn’t the love that we’re lacking from others but from ourselves. Reset is about digging deeper, starting with me.”

Q. What are some common misconceptions about you?
“That it’s over for me, but God,” she laughed.
Q. Let’s talk motherhood… how awakening has it been being a mothering and how has motherhood inspired you creatively as an artist?
“Motherhood has been an amazingly beautiful and overwhelming journey. It inspired me to go harder because I have my babies in the play now. It’s not just for them, for myself and every mother out there who has dreams and goals and think it’s impossible to achieve them because they have children.”
On February 21, 2025, the singer and songwriter released her lead single “Would you” on all streaming platforms. The record has a hard-hitting old-school sound paired with some smooth and soft vocals to bring the whole vibe into harmony.
Evans fans are super excited about her new music and have been going crazy online with comments and memes to show their appreciation for the artist and this new-found era that she’s entering.
Evans shared with us during the interview that she is gearing up to release an EP in the next few months and promised that it was R&B and amazing.

Q. How involved are you when it comes to creating a record when it relates to production and writing?
“From the idea, to writing, the vocal production and arranging… I’m hands on but I also love collaborations. Especially if the musical chemistry is there.”
“I have something special going on with my producer Dreek. I’m really excited about what we’re bringing to the table. I want my fans to get the most organic, authentic me as much as possible.”
Q. Considering that you’ve been working within the industry for over a decade… what’s some of the best advice that you have ever received?
“Slow and steady… comparison is the thief of joy. It’s not a one size fits all journey, everything that belongs to you will be yours, in due time. “
Q. What other business ventures are you interested in or currently pursuing outside of music?
“I aspire to be multifaceted… I’d love to get into the real estate industry someday. Who knows what the future holds?”
Q. What can your fans expect from you for the rest of the year?
“Slay, slay, slay… every stage, big or small.”
“Also, music visuals, merchandise and touring. It’s time for me to give my T-cups a full Tiffany show... R&B superstar style.”
